Children's Adoption Group Starts October 12, 2019

Hello Heart to Heart Family!

We are excited to announce that we are beginning a Children's Adoption Group here at Heart to Heart. We have expanded our office space at our current location, so children will meet in the new family therapy room! The Children's Adoption Group begins October 12, 2019!

Here at Heart to Heart, we want all families to know that they are not alone in their journey toward healing. Through our Children's Adoption Group, we hope to foster a sense of community, provide support, and assist with restoration by providing the opportunity for adopted children and their families to come together to meet other families of adoption, share about themselves and their experiences, and ask questions! The group will consist of activities that focus on the children’s stories, questions, concerns, hopes, and experiences with adoption. The group will also emphasize and celebrate the ethnic and racial diversity in our group, with the goal of recognizing the beauty and strengths that their life and family brings. 

Children from 6 to 10 years are welcome! If you are not a current client at Heart to Heart, please contact Lilly Tolen at 651-300-2292 with inquiries!

Group Information:

Start Date: October 12, 2019

Date and Times: Saturdays from 1 PM to 2 PM. Group will run for 4- 6 weeks.

Group Format: Children will met for 50 minutes and then parents will join the children in the group for 10 minutes. Parents can meet upstairs in the conference room during group time. One parent or caretaker does need to remain at Heart to Heart during each group session.
